Zedd’s ‘Moment of Clarity’ documentary is 25 minutes of pure feels

Many know Zedd from his meteoric rise through the dance scene with his huge hits “Stay The Night”, “Find You”, and of course, “Clarity”. The German born producer is a true musician at heart, always looking to better himself and we have an immense amount of respect for him. We first saw him in 2012 on tour with Porter Robinson and Skrillex, since that point we’ve always followed his stellar work. To end of 2014, Zedd has released a 25 minute documentary about his ‘Clarity’ tour and it is simply amazing. If you’re a fan of Zedd we strongly suggest watching this!

Interview: BBC Radio1 host Danny Howard talks changing trends & new music

Danny Howard @ The Hoxton
Two weekends ago we had the chance to check out Danny Howard at The Hoxton and sit down for an interview with the BBC Radio1 host and budding producer. His “Step Back” intro mix by Chocolate Puma had us excited for the destruction to ensue. He ripped through a plethora of proper house tunes as he brought his Nothing Else Matters party to North America for a six stop tour. After his set we sat down to talk everything dance music and a little more. Danny had a lot to say and we kind of just let him go. Those tend to be the best interviews. Click after the break to read our full interview with Mr Howard.

Check out our full photo album from the night here.

“Yoshi has also secured the skills of Tent Cantrelle to deliver the perfect deep house foil to Nicole’s techno ferocity as Sharam concludes, “We wanted a real slice of contemporary funk from the companion mix. Yoshi is synonymous with exploring the line between deep house and techno, perhaps no more so than during its formative years, so this re-mix completes the package perfectly.”

Release: Alternative Kasual – Everyday and Night (Vintage Culture Remix)

vintage-cultureVintage Culture is an artist we’ve only recently discovered, but have become obsessed with. The South American DJ and producer makes bassline oriented house that falls on the nu-disco and g-house side of four to the floor. He’s on a role recently with a an arsenal of massive releases. His latest is a remix of “Everyday and Night” by Alternative Kasual and features a piercing bassline. He’s all about big and bolds sounds coupled with finely tuned details. We’ve gotta get this guy to North America.
