Release: Botnek & 3LAU – Vikings (Bixel Boys Remix)

Bixel Boys @ Ilesoniq
Up-and-coming kings of the underground Bixel Boys join Dim Mak Records with their innovative rework of Botnek and 3LAU’s collaboration “Vikings.” Mesmerizingly minimal and articulately crafted, the California duo reupholsters the once electro track into a smattering of spacey synths, delicate drum kicks and groovy basslines.” – Dim Mak

Preview: Hard Rock Sofa & Skidka – Arms Around Me (Chocolate Puma Remix)

Main_avatar_CHOCOLATE_PUMA“Arms Around Me” was easily one of the most surprising tracks of 2014 from Hard Rock Sofa on Axtone. So what happens when you get groove monsters to an already groovy track? You get that super groove. But ferreal, Chocolate Puma utilizes their signature horns, stomping percussion and acid lines to blow this one out of the water. A true and proper banger.

Release: Cazzette – Sleepless (Remixes II ft. A-Trak, Sneaker Snob & Othello)

10087112While the Jenaux & Prince Fox remix holds my favourite remix for “Sleepless” by Cazzette, today all three part II remixes came seriously close to knabbing the first spot. A-Trak deliver sa high octane electro house remix that makes the track playable in some of the biggest rooms and venues, while Sneaker Snob comes at “Sleepless” with a silky smooth house remix featuring some trap offerings and whole lot of gangsta. Finally, Othello rounds out the pack with an official release as the winner of the Indaba remix contest. He brings out a future bass remix that completely flips the script.

A non-Prydz release on Pryda? It’s happening! Preview Jeremy Olander’s upcoming EP ‘Jackie’

Jeremy Olander

I never thought we’d see the day something was released on Pryda Recordings that didn’t have “Prydz”, “Pryda”, or “Cirez D” in the artist field. Breaking all traditions is Pryda Friends heavyweight Jeremy Olander and his upcoming EP ‘Jackie’. If you are familiar with Jeremy Olander you know he’s got some masterful productions and his live sets are super dark and progressive. Good news though folks, only 2 weeks until you can have your hands on these 3 tunes! Check back for the release on September 29th.
