Release: Mr. G Sings – The Caged Bird Sings (Scottie Deep Remixes)

In case the original that landed at the end of 2014 passed you by, there’s the chance for you to discover Mr. G Sings’ “The Caged Bird Sings” by way of a pair of new remixes.

It’s Scottie Deep (or Scott Kinchen), who has stepped up to present these new versions, and he presents his “NYC 84” and “When Dubs Cry” mixes. The first is a lively and euphoric number packed with melodic energy from the piano chords, whilst the latter is a far more refined affair – one for the deeper and more progressive heads.

Release: Breakup – Roads To Rome (Ji Nilsson Remix)

Looking for a sultry summer anthem? Look no further. Out today as a joint release between Universal Sweden and Svenska Inspelningar is the Ji Nilsson remix of “Roads To Rome” from Breakup.

For those unfamiliar with the name, Nilsson is a singer/songwriter from Sweden, and she has put a delicious spin on this single. Laying down a slinky beat that oozes beneath ripples of vocals, a progression of piano chords molds all the components together brilliantly.

Release: Latroit & Bishøp – Loving Every Minute (Franky Rizardo Remix)

franky-rizardoI’ve had this one penciled down since Franky dropped it in his radio show months ago. There’s not much to say about Franky Rizardo’s remix of “Loving Every Minute” by Latroit and Bishop. Big piano chords and a silky smooth bassline are the piece de resistance on this house banger. Grab the release on Armada.

Release: Chris Lake & Chris Lorenzo – Piano Hand (Original Mix)

10985450_10152740592726126_5470903038143834719_nIt seems like changing trends has really brought out the best in many producers. Not to say Chris Lake wasn’t making awesome music, but it’s amazing to see him returning to his house roots. Anyhoo, he’s teamed up with Chris Lorzeno for a wobble house beast. Titled “Panio Hand”, it of course features a huge raving piano, but also has a bubbling bassline that hits hard.

Free Download: TroyBoi – You Kno

troyboiTroyBoi’s eclectic style and sound manipulation is well known, and sets him apart from the rest of the scene. ‘You Kno’ is no different, accompanied by some asian inspired synths, dirty dirty bassline and his recurring low pitch male vocals; similarly found in many of his other tracks as well.  ‘You Kno’ is a track that is definitely “his style”.

Release: Notize & Fura – Demons II (KANT Remix)

KANT_03Kant and Kittball has to be one of he dopest artist and label relationships. The dude puts out some of the craziest deep house and his Widespread EP really rocked my world. Anyhoo, he’s back on Kittball with an absolutely massive remix of Demons II. So sexy.

Release: Vintage Culture, Constantinne, Felten – Eyes (Original Mix)

11224479_886653738065537_5649619842613860169_nVintage Culture might as well change his name to Mr. Consistency because every release slaps so goddamn hard. To be honest, his latest release with Constantinne and Felten, titled “Eyes”, may have one of the best breakdowns I’ve heard in a hot second. And, in typical South American style it breaks into the grooviest and cleanest bassline.
