Release: R3HAB & NERVO ft. Ayah Marar – Ready For The Weekend (Don Diablo Remix)

zo_oRPT2FGg-600x600Don Diablo has got to be one of the hottest producers in dance music right now. Coming off the massive “Back In Time” original and recently remixing “Kanye” by The Chainsmokers, Don is a very high commodity. Not to brag, but I remember when he signed with Protocol and telling my friends to watch out for this guy. He’s been doing this for a long time and someone with his experience, wisdom, resume and sound design abilities is bound to figure this whole EDM thing out. His new remix for NERVO and R3HAB is a smasher alright.

Release: Lana Del Rey – Ultraviolence (Hook N Sling Remix)

hook-slingThis is what you would call a really good EDM remix. We’ve been waiting on this release for months, since Hook N Sling premiered it on his Soundcloud earlier in the summer. Hook N Sling transforms the single by Lana into a club-room beast. It’s full of an eclectic array of sounds, but reverts back to a heavy rave influence alongside a host of electro synth work. His remix of “Ultraviolence” is a testament to Hook N Sling’s ability to produce tracks built for the dance floor and DJs. Bravo sir.
