A non-Prydz release on Pryda? It’s happening! Preview Jeremy Olander’s upcoming EP ‘Jackie’

Jeremy Olander

I never thought we’d see the day something was released on Pryda Recordings that didn’t have “Prydz”, “Pryda”, or “Cirez D” in the artist field. Breaking all traditions is Pryda Friends heavyweight Jeremy Olander and his upcoming EP ‘Jackie’. If you are familiar with Jeremy Olander you know he’s got some masterful productions and his live sets are super dark and progressive. Good news though folks, only 2 weeks until you can have your hands on these 3 tunes! Check back for the release on September 29th.

Free Download: Walden – Xaya

WaldenWe first heard “Xaya” by Walden over a year ago during Pierce Fulton’s live Mixify series. The first time I heard I was blown away and had to get it up on Soundcloud right away. It’s amazing to finally see the progressive house gem finally hit the EDM world and for free. It’s a throwback to Walden’s style that got him noticed with tracks lie “Brightness” back in the day. True house beast right here.

Release: Kaz James – Show Me All Your Love

kaz-jamesKaz James is no newbie to the EDM world, but recently he’s really made a huge splash with the release of way too many quality house records. First, his collab alongside Junior Sanchez, “Underground Police”, proved that he has a unique sound to offer, but “Matterhorn” with Tom Starr really put him on the map with an extremely original idea. Next, Kaz released his massive remix for “Gecko” by Oliver Heldens. Honestly, there isn’t that many big-room house guys that I’m super stoked on, but Kaz is definitely one I’m hyped for. He’s versatile and moves across sounds and dips into the more commercial side without compromising integrity. His latest record “Show Me All Your Love” may be the perfect example of Kaz James crossing that line to a more pop-friendly sound. Still, the track is extremely infectious with a catchy vocal alongside a massive debut by Pete Tong on Radio1 one month ago. Can’t wait to hear this one live.

Release: Michael Brun & DubVision ft. Tom Cane – Sun In Your Eyes

suninyoureyes-When Michael Brun and DubVision finally hooked up in the studio to work on a few ideas, we immediately took notice. We caught up with Michael at Veld a few weekends ago ad he talked about how happy he is with “Sun In Your Eyes”. And, he should be because it’s a massive summertime anthem that is going to destroy the remained of September. It’s awesome to see some groove being pushed back into the big-room style tracks across mainstages.

Preview: Pierce Fulton – Noon Gun (Original Mix)

pierce-fulton-cobra-londonPierce Fulton previewed “Kuaga“, the first track off his upcoming EP, on Cr2 a few days ago. He just dropped a preview of the second track on the EP titled “Noon Gun.” Where “Kuaga” takes a much more uplifting and melodic approach, “Noon Gun” is a driving progressive house beast. A hard hitting percussion led drop, to more big-roomesque’ synth work throughout the track. Once again, Pierce proves that he’s one of the most versatile and polished producers in the industry.

Release: Super8 & Tab ft. Julie Thompson – No Frontiers

Super8 & Tab digital dreamsExtremely grateful we got to nab Super8 & Tab at Digital Dreams for a quick chat. The duo have teamed up with vocalist Julie Thompson for a huge new release on Anjunabeats. “No Frontiers” was debuted as record of the week on Group Therapy 089 and is sweet throwback to the style of Anjunabeats we fell in love with. Huge saws and melodic overtones run rampant on “No Frontiers” and I can just see all my producer friends drooling uncontrollably.
